A.А. Zharmenov was born in 1956 in Babaykorgan village South – Kazakhstan region.

 

He graduated from the Chemistry Department of the Kazakh State University named after Kirov in 1976.

 

Passed all stages of professional development from senior laboratory assistant, engineer, junior, senior researcher, Head of the Laboratory, Head of the Department of Chemical and Metallurgical Institute of Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (1976-1993), Head of the Department of Analytical Chemistry in Karaganda State University (1985-1987) to Deputy Director General and from 1999 - General Director of the RSE «National Center on Complex Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan», which is led by him to this day.

Buketov Award (2005), winner of award and the gold medal of academician Zholdasbekov U.A. (2011). Awarded by the Anniversary Medal «10 zhyl Astana» (2008), breastplates «Inventor of the USSR» (1980) and «For merits in development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan» (2001), Golden Medal of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2011), the medal «Kazakhstan Respublikasynyn tauyelsizdigine 20 zhyl» (2011). Honorary citizen of Turkestan city.
