ALMATY. June 14th. KAZINFORM. An electric furnace for the production of ferrosilicon aluminum has been launched today at the Pavlodar plant of KSP Steel LLP.
The large-scale production of a valuable alloy for the production of high-quality steel is the result of scientific developments by leading Kazakhstani scientists in the field of metallurgy.
The implementation of an industrial and innovative project to produce 30 thousand tons of ferrosilicon aluminum per year, worth eight billion tenge, allowed the creation of 350 jobs at the plant. The raw materials are the dumps of the Ekibastuz coal mines.
Akim of Pavlodar region Yerlan Aryn, who participated in the launch of the furnace, stressed: "Modern methods of producing new products created by Kazakhstani scientists have been applied at the facility. They ensure high competitiveness of products in terms of quality and price.
Ferrosilicoaluminium is in demand in the global metallurgy industry, and representatives of foreign companies who expressed interest in the project came to the launch."This is an important point - Kazakhstan has its own new technologies that are being introduced into production," concluded the head of the Pavlodar region.
