The NC CPMRM RK has defined the priorities for scientific and organizational activities for 2026

The first meeting of the Academic Council of the National Center on Complex Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as NC CPMRM RK) this year was held in Almaty under the chairmanship of Director General A.K. Nurgaliev.
Results and Continuity The meeting began with an analysis of the activities of the Academic Council and the Scientific Seminar on Natural Sciences, Raw Materials Processing, and Metallurgy for 2025. It was noted that NC CPMRM RK has traditionally maintained high scientific performance. Work plans approved for 2026 are aimed at further developing the organization in various areas of scientific, scientific-organizational, and scientific-technical activities.
Human Resources and Recognition The Academic Council placed particular emphasis on supporting scientific personnel. The list of leading scientists of the NC CPMRM RK for remuneration from base funding was approved. Employees nominated for awards of various distinctions in connection with professional holidays (upcoming holidays include Science Day, Geologist's Day, Ecologist's Day, and Chemist's Day) have been identified.
Openness of Science and Media StrategyAs part of its commitment to popularizing scientific achievements, the Academic Council heard a report from the Head of the Public Relations and Media Relations Department for 2025. Following the discussion, the Media Plan of the RSE "NC CPMRM RK" for 2026 was approved. The new information strategy is designed to strengthen the NC CPMRM RK's presence in the media and is aimed at highlighting the contributions of scientists to the development of the country's industry.
Scientific Publications and International StandardsOne of the important issues on the agenda was a discussion of publication activity. Members of the Academic Council approved the publication plan for 2026, emphasizing the importance of presenting research results in reputable scientific journals.
