VNIItsvetmet has developed a technology for beneficiation of Besshok and Kyzyltu ores

Specialists of VNIITsvetmet have developed technologies for flotation enrichment of ore deposits in Besshok and Kyzyltu; solutions are included in the regulations for the design of new processing plants.

It is planned to receive about 190 thousand in the new enterprises Besshok and Kyzyltu. tons of copper concentrate per year with a total processing capacity of 10.5 million tons of ore per year. For Besshok, processing of 7.5 million tons of ore per year is planned, with an output of about 142,000 tons. Tons of concentrate with copper content of 25%; for Kyzyltu - 3 million tons of ore and about 48 thousand. Tons of concentrate with average content of 21%. This year, experts are also correcting the technological regulations of factories Bozshakol and Karchiga, taking into account the mineral composition of ores and production conditions. Larisa Kushakova, deputy director of VNIItsvetmet, said that the results of laboratory studies of flotation regimes will allow to increase the extraction of copper and will be used to improve the operation of factories.
